Tarheel born and tarheel bred!

Jackson is officially a tarheel! We got his UNC bandanna today! He has been wearing it around very proudly! He also got a Kasey Kahne (of course!) and because we live in TN he has to be a UT fan :)

A Walk in the park

Me and jackson at the VA
Jackson and I took a break from studying today to head to the VA campus in Johnson City and enjoy the sunshine or as my aunt Beth tells me "soak up some vitamin D" We walked around for over an hour and enjoyed the sunshine as well as visiting with many veterans who thoroughly enjoyed seeing my little boy! He seemed to bring such a ray of sunshine into their day, and he enjoyed being told he was pretty but then again who doesnt!

Off to see the Wizard...the wonderful wizard of foundations!

My sister the homecoming queen!

After an exciting fall break with my new puppy its back to Johnson City to began the next test cycle :( As most nurses can tell you fundamentals/foundations will make you want to throw up your dress and scream! I spent most of this break studying which was less than fun.  To make it better my favorite cousins Gracie, Wiley, and Gage made it over! Gracie is probably going to be my best friend in a couple of years! With everything that's been happening in the past few weeks, I am so thankful to have seen them to uplift my spirits! Spending time over break with my mom, daddy, and sister was wonderful as well :) We had tons of fun shopping for jackson, in between my exam studying haha! As I begin another test cycle my daddy often reminds me i'm on the downward spiral from here and that my time in college is almost over which most days I say thank you lord! Life has moved so fast and it seems like every time I turn around everyone's a year older and this weekend I realized I would be 21 in a month! A month! WOW! Anyway, back to the studying of foundation!

Here's to a New ME!

I decided to start a blog b/c so much GOOD is happening in my life right now and instead of texting my family back and forth and forgetting everything in between I can post here for all to read! Jackson my dog and I will keep everyone updated on all our fun, tests, and excitement we have in Johnson city at ETSU while I attend Nursing school!
